NYLF: Engineering
Where could your future as an engineer take you? Anywhere you imagine. Immerse yourself in design thinking and explore your passion for problem-solving across a variety of engineering disciplines at the National Youth Leadership Forum (NYLF): Engineering.
Spending eight days on the campus of a top-ranking national institution—Georgia Tech, Olin College, University of Michigan, or University of California, Berkeley—provides students with a taste of life on campus and the opportunity to meet students from across the country who share their passion for engineering.
Build the future you want
- Learning from subject matter experts and industry professionals who have engineered their own paths to success
- Making a real-world impact by implementing newfound knowledge to help solve a global issue during an immersive, program-long Capstone Impact Challenge
- Participating in workshops to investigate how AI neural networks learn, program a model helicopter to fly independently, and utilize 3D CAD software to design a model rocket
- Experience life on the campus of a top-ranked engineering school with other high-achieving high school students
By attending NYLF Engineering, students can earn college credit through our partnership with George Mason University.

What some of our alumni are saying…
My son had an awesome experience attending the Envision engineering technology camp at Berkeley University. He was able to get a first-hand experience at college life and work with a team of individuals that helped build his character. I am so pleased with this program and would hope that you continue this program so that my daughter can attend in the future. It was worth the expense.”
William attended the NYLF Engineering & Technology program this past summer. William described it as ‘one of the best experiences of his life.”
